Sydney Brainard is a graduate of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Journalism and additional focuses in Creative Writing and Italian Language.
She seeks to author a fiction book, as well as produce many long-form journalistic pieces.
In her junior year, she was awarded first place in the Mini-Max Short Fiction competition hosted by UNC’s Department of English and Comparative Literature.
